The Island

The subject is very interesting, the Utopia, and how should the perfect world look and behave? There are several books about the matter, and some movies. This is Michael Bay's version, you know the man behind the Rock (1996), Armageddon (1998), Pearl Harbor (2001) and Transformers (2007). He is knowed for the perfect collor in his pictures, and in this movie the turquoise/green is magic.

The leading rolles are played by Ewan McGregor as Lincoln Six Echo and Scarlett Johansson as Jordan Two Delta, they are in fact clones of Tom Lincoln and Sarah Jordan. They both dream of winning, or beeing chosen to go to "the Island" which is the last untouched place on earth. Lincoln understands there is something strange going on, so he makes a run for it. Nothing is what it seems and his world is turned up side down.

It's a pretty good verion of the Utopia, Steve Buscemi, Sean Bean and Djimon Hounsou are other actors in the movie.
